Vistas Film Festival
After their previous developer skipped town and only created a minimal website I was fortunate to be contacted by them to build their site.
Using a few images including an image of the Angelika Film Center I created an illustrated look for the header area of the site and integrated the logo done by a graphic designer from California and worked with him on putting together several print materials and also getting them printed locally.
I also created and managed their Twitter and Facebook accounts and tied them in to their site, with a twitter feed next to the logo. We held a contest and gave away a few All Access passes.
Using a Paypal payment system, their first online payment experience, we generated online sales that matched their box office sales.
Email marketing was also part of the mix and we emailed their subscriber base a few times before the festival and had good response. The images of the email consisted of the skull image that can be seen on the home page.
